Germany have beaten Turkey 3-2 in a fantastic semi-final. Turkey took the lead in the 22nd minute after some slow defending. The lead only lasted four minutes as Schweinsteiger equalised. Wednesday saw the first qualifiers for the next round, along with the first team to be eliminated. Portugal beat the Czech Republic with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring one and creating another, and Turkey cam from behind to beat hosts Switzerland.
