David BentleyAs reported here, David Bentley looks set to sign for Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth £18million. Reports suggest that the former Arsenal man could be a Spurs player by the weekend, following a medical on Wednesday.

Spurs have been interested in Bentley for some time now, and no doubt the sale of Robbie Keane to Liverpool has allowed the North London club to reach an agreement with Blackburn. Spurs fans will be happy to see Bentley arrive, after the disappointment of seeing Keane leave.

The winger has been at Blackburn since 2006, and has scored 13 goals in 102 appearances in that time, as well as winning 6 England caps.
