The tackle has caused outrage, and calls for Guthrie to face more severe punishment than the mandatory 3-match ban are widespread.
In fact, the BBC reports here that Hull chairman Phil Duffen may consider legal action depending on Guthrie’s thoughts.
Fagan’s left leg was fractured by Guthrie’s wild kick in stoppage time during the Magpies’ 2-1 home defeat.
