Ronaldinho Set For AC Milan Move

Ronaldinho is on the verge of a move to AC Milan, despite the desperate efforts of Man City to sign the Brazilian ace.
A statement on the Milan website said:
“AC Milan and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Ronaldinho,” the Serie A club said on their website. The player will be in Milan on Wednesday to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will keep him at Milan until 30 June 2011.”
Ronaldinho’s partying has caused endless concern for the Catalan giants, and his future at the club was effectively ended last month when new manager - and former player - Pep Guardiola said that the playmaker was ’surplus to requirements’.
Ronaldinho had long been an ambitious transfer target for City, and an audacious £25million bid along with a reported offer of £200,000 a week for the Brazilian has not been enough to lure the former player of the year to Eastlands.
Reports suggest that Milan will pay an initial fee of just under £15million for 28-year-old’s services.
