Nasri’s Father To Blame For Transfer Leak?
With the transfer of Samir Nasri announced on his personal website yesterday - before the site was swiftly removed from the realms of the Internet, Arsenal fans all over the world have been desperately trying to find out just what is going on.
Well, new reports on various sites seem to suggest that Nasri’s father may be to blame for the unprecedented leak. Nasri Sr controls all commercial aspects of his son’s career, including his website. It seems that he was a little quick in posting the story for all to see. After realising that both clubs wanted to keep the deal out of the press for the time being, the site was taken offline.
Marseille have refused to admit that the deal has been completed, and Arsenal have not commented. But, a French journalist claims to have spoken to Nasri’s father, who confirmed the deal HAS been completed - and will be formally announced by both clubs today.
As yet, there is no news from either source. But it does appear that the transfer is a done deal. Unfortunately for all you Arsenal fans you are going to have to wait a little longer to see if you are going to see Nasri gracing your starting line-up this season!
