Alexander Hleb Signs For Barcelona

As predicted, Alexander Hleb has joined Barcelona for a reported £11.8million after spending 3 years at Arsenal.
The Belarus international completed a medical in the Spanish city on Wednesday and said:
“I love this team. I will give my best and I want to win everything with Barca.”
The 27-year-old midfielder had been previously linked with a move to Inter Milan, with Arsene Wenger threatening to report the club for illegally approaching Hleb while Arsenal were in Milan. But, it’s Barcelona who made the move, and he arrives at the Nou Camp just 24 hours after Ronaldinho’s departure.
Hleb has been at Arsenal since 2005 when he was signed for £11.2million from Stuttgart, but his future has been in doubt since it became clear that he was not enjoying living in London - at one point saying he was ‘mentally tired’.
Reports of a rift with Wenger and team mate Fabregas have been denied.
