Just a quick note to let you all know that we are upgrading to a new, glossy (and some might say sexy!) look.

While we are doing this you may find the site a little difficult to use. However, all our articles are still on the site and readable. It’s just our homepage that may lead you to think we have nothing on the site!

Thank you for your patience - we hope to have the site up and running as normal by the end of the day. I think you will agree that it’s worth it.

Welcome to the new sports blog - CLDsport.co.uk!

We are currently in development stage, but we are looking forward to providing you with independant sports news and comments in our own words. You can look forward to hard-hitting comments on the latest sporting events.

We are currently looking for some sports fans to join our blogging team. For those of you that are interested we will set up a username and password for you to post directly to the site. Ideally you will have your own unique writing style, and (of course) a knowledge of sport!!!!

The direction we are aiming to take this site, is towards the more controversial approach. We are looking for people with strong opinions and the confidence to take criticism. Please note however, that we are not going to start making slanderous comments - and any posts that break this rule will be deleted!

There is a possibility of a ‘Payment-Per-Post’ income plan for those of you that are accepted as bloggers for CLDsport. This, however, has not yet been finalised.

If you are interested in sharing your sporting opinions with the world, and feel you can write a decent article, then please contact: cldsport@cldconnections.co.uk and express your interest.

Please include your name, your email address and a brief description of what would make you a good cldsport blogger.
