Cristiano Ronaldo To Stay At United For One More Year

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he will play for Manchester United for at least “one more year”, ending the summer long speculation regarding his future - and more specifically his transfer to Real Madrid.
It seems that United manager Alex Ferguson has utilised his man management skills in persuading the 23-year-old Portuguese winger to remain at Old Trafford for this season.
Ronaldo, who scored 42 goals for United last season, told Portuguese paper Publico;
“Sir Alex Ferguson heard my arguments, I heard his and it was settled that the best thing would be for me to stay. I can confirm that, next season, I will play for Manchester United.” Read more
